Comment by Sentient Biped on March 22, 2012 at 1:40pm Hi Tonya, you're right! This one is on the North side of my house. It's flourishing, really huge now! About 5 years old. I have several others, it's great to see them bloom in January! Hasn't re-seeded yet. It will be interesting to see what offspring look like.
Comment by Tonya Wynn on March 22, 2012 at 1:35pm That looks like the pretty Lenten rose I've ever seen! If it is, it should be in semi-shade, it is evergreen, and should re-seed fairly well if it likes its spot.
Comment by Sentient Biped on March 19, 2012 at 10:23pm Glad you can enjoy looking at them!
Comment by Regina M on March 19, 2012 at 7:27pm I'm reaching frustration level-I had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands and there's all this stuff to do outside. But the daffodils started blooming on Saturday and they are oh-so-lovely. Forsythia and magnolias are blooming as well. This is just crazy.

Comment by Sentient Biped on March 13, 2012 at 12:19pm Regina, cool! Our daffodils are blooming. Snowed today but temp was mid 30s. Winter onions are up to the point that we are getting scallions. Peaches blooming - might be a bad thing here, too early.
Comment by Regina M on March 13, 2012 at 10:59am Crocuses are coming up here! Suddenly realizing I haven't ordered my seeds to start yet...
Comment by Sentient Biped on February 21, 2012 at 9:56am Susan, my daffodils too. It's great! We've had Helleborus blooming for a month here, but that almost doesn't count. Daffodils mean Spring!
so glad my daffodils are coming up, love the feel of spring coming around the corner. love the change in seasons
