How to spruce up your yard!

Hi Tonya,  you're right!  This one is on the North side of my house.  It's flourishing, really huge now!  About 5 years old.  I have several others, it's great to see them bloom in January!  Hasn't re-seeded yet. It will be interesting to see what offspring look like.

That looks like the pretty Lenten rose I've ever seen!  If it is, it should be in semi-shade, it is evergreen, and should re-seed fairly well if it likes its spot.

Glad you can enjoy looking at them!

I'm reaching frustration level-I had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands and there's all this stuff to do outside. But the daffodils started blooming on Saturday and they are oh-so-lovely. Forsythia and magnolias are blooming as well. This is just crazy.

Regina, cool! Our daffodils are blooming.  Snowed today but temp was mid 30s.  Winter onions are up to the point that we are getting scallions.  Peaches blooming - might be a bad thing here, too early.

Crocuses are coming up here! Suddenly realizing I haven't ordered my seeds to start yet...

Susan, my daffodils too.  It's great!  We've had Helleborus blooming for a month here, but that almost doesn't count.  Daffodils mean Spring!
