My grandfather planted by the moon. I think it's soo much hooey, but it's fun to think about. He used the Farmer's Almanac.

Supposedly full moon is when you plant root crops. If that includes bulbs, then now is the time for those tulips and daffodils!

Around my neck of the woods, it's chilly and raining. Too overwhelmed today to garden - which is what I would rather be doing. Time to being in some of the tropicals, or decide to let them freeze like I did last year with the banana.

I didn't know this...but I just planted garlic and goldenseal...both root crops. ;o)
Definitely hooey. Glad it's fun for you to think about Daniel. For me, it just brings back memories of how I used to complicate my life with all sorts of hooey.
