High Country Gardens describes a plant that has many attractive qualities, including: attracts bees, evergreen, Estimated Mature Height 4-6" tall, Mature Spread 12-15" wide, Bloom Time Late spring, Native, Planting Season Spring, Summer, Waterwise, Sandy Soil, Clay Soil, Average Soil, Zones 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.

I have not grown this before; it looks like a promising plant to meet my garden's needs. High Country Gardens have plants, and I suspect these can be grown from seeds.

The coastal area may be too wet for these, however, for the dryer areas, this may present a good choice for groundcover.
