What a game earlier today...maybe one of the worst officiated games i can remember. Both sides were getting called on a lot of infractions that should've been no-calls.

HOCKEY!!!!  Grew up with the Florida Panthers in South Florida, but Been following the Lightning since I moved to central Florida.

Blues fan, but I follow the whole league. I've always wondered if religion gets talked about in the locker rooms. You know some of the Scandinavian and Russian fellows are bound to be atheists...

AWESOME GROUP! How did I not see this earlier?

I am a Leaf's fan. So I am used to pain and suffering.

I am trying to learn hockey skills now.  I am learning C cuts but I am very very awful. I can do them backward better than forward.

Any tips?

So the NHL trade deadline has come and gone. My St. Louis Blues were pretty active - putting Ty Conklin on waivers, dealing Eric Brewer to Tampa Bay, Erik Johnson and Jay McClement to Colorado, Brad Boyes to Buffalo and now Brad Winchester to Anaheim, mostly for draft picks (they did pick up Chris Stewart and Kevin Shattenkirk from the Avs). Anyone have any thoughts on all the deals and which one was the biggest of the bunch?

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.
