I created a new group on Steam called the Friendly Neighborhood Atheist - if anyone here is interested in joining.

Comment by Joseph P on October 1, 2012 at 2:37pm Yeah, that's definitely one of the things WoW has going for it. You can level 3 Horde characters and 3 Alliance characters without repeating the quests, until level 40 or so. It's much more expansive than the handful of other MMO's I've seen. Not that I'll be picking up any new MMO's, so it doesn't really matter to me, now.
Comment by Regina M on October 1, 2012 at 1:38pm TOR is the first mmo that I've pvp'd in, so I can't compare it to others. I do like that they put all levels in together, so there's that. HuttBall scares the bejesus outta me, but I like the other warzones well enough, but not so much that I'll do 10 of them in a row. I get my 2 done for the day and that's pretty much it, but I'm still leveling all my toons. The cut scenes can get a bit tedious, especially for non-class quest lines, so I skip through those. Re: the tediousness of quests, I would agree. I like in Rift that once you get mid-level there are 2 different areas you can run in, and I really enjoyed the release of Ember Isle as a new area-it seemed like it took forever to get through it all. Considering going back to Rift once the expansion comes out in November.....
Comment by Chris Dodds on September 28, 2012 at 3:49pm I just got a media remote for my 360. Does anyone know how to sync it with my system?
Comment by Kosak Grabovsky on September 27, 2012 at 3:07am Well, i can see ToR not doing well for the last couple of months. With Guild Wars 2 coming out in august, and then new WoW expansion. Also what keeps a MMO alive is the end game. And from what ive heard both pvp and pve in ToR isnt that compelling.
Comment by d20 Jeff on September 26, 2012 at 2:47pm Borderlands 2 is just incredible. I'm "d20jeff" on Xbox Live.
Comment by Bryanderthal on September 26, 2012 at 2:28pm Yep. I'll go back also when it goes f2p but Borderlands 2 has me for now.
Comment by Kyu on September 26, 2012 at 1:05pm Yeah, TOR was fun initially, but I got far less out of it than any other MMO I've played. At this point I log in, raid, and log out. I've been doing it for months because I don't want to leave my raid group without a healer. End game is too easy and the content is aenemic - you'll always be leveling on the same planets every time, doing the exact same quests (sans class quests). There aren't two or three zones you can go to for a level bracket to get some variety in between toons. The game had real promise, but BioWare just proved how far they've fallen as a developer. They've layed off a lot of TOR staff, lost major players in development, and it shows.

Comment by Regina M on September 26, 2012 at 12:35pm Yeah Kyu, I've been wondering what's going to happen when they go free to play (which kind of seems to be the trend on many mmo's anymore).
