Any Skyrim addicts out there? I've been playing a little while, level 25 or so. I don't understand how some of my friends have hit level 50+ already, I'm jealous of their amount of free time.
There are a few religions in Skyrim, in which you can receive "blessings", get married, and.... probably some other stuff but I haven't spent too much time in the churches. I think they fit well with the lore and settings of the game.
There is so much to the game, every time I play it I feel like I'm doing something completely new and exciting.

Permalink Reply by Jonny Marko on November 30, 2011 at 3:17pm It's definitely buggy, though the sheer amount of content almost makes it excusable. I'm hoping they get some patches out soon to fix the majority of bugs. I got it for PC which helps a little as you can use the console to advance in broken quests/etc.
Permalink Reply by Scott A. Hunt on November 30, 2011 at 3:41pm Unfortunately my pc is way too old to run Skyrim so I'm stuck waiting for patches. I have several quests that won't go away, a city I can't go to without being attacked (and can't surrender) and so on.
Do you find it difficult to stick to the main plot quests? There are so many side quests I sometimes avoid all possible contact with NPC's. Would be great if the quests list would auto-sort inactive quests to the bottom!
Permalink Reply by Jonny Marko on November 30, 2011 at 4:00pm I tend to go all over the place and often alternate between a side quest and a more major quest. Not even sure where I am in the "main" quest line. I do avoid talking to NPCs in towns that I don't spend a lot of time in or just passing through... picked up a lot of side quests in Whiterun and Riften so far but I'm trying to limit it to those two for now.
Only complaint about the game is the difficulty managing inventory. I did find a mod that lets me sort by value, weight, or value/weight which has been very helpful. But I still feel like I spend a disproportionate amount of time managing and sorting inventory into containers, and running back and forth between my house, blacksmith, general store, enchanting lab, etc.
ive dot a guestion? can o make my own house?, BTW im 68 today!!!
Permalink Reply by Kyu on November 30, 2011 at 11:20pm You can't make a house, but you can buy a house. You can buy lots of houses, and if you want to put things in 'em, go nuts. The item placement is a bit wonky though.
Permalink Reply by Kyu on November 30, 2011 at 11:20pm I <3 Skyrim. Granted I change characters like most people change underwear, but that's got more to do with the fact that I botched my first character by getting her in a place she can't get out of and her companion isn't able to hold off the onslaught.
Accidentally overwrote the save file on my second toon... thought my third toon was ugly.
So now I'm a heavy armor wearing, 2H hammer wielding, angry angry Nord woman who'd like to smash your head in. It's beautiful.
Luckily I haven't really had many problems with my game on the PS3. About the only thing I get is the "You've been playing all day, get up and do something else." lag, which is easy to get around by either restarting or getting rid of all the extraneous autosave files.
tks, ok ill get and try it, i noticed i had two choices international and North America, i dont want to start up and not find you guys. im on a PC, and i hope thats not a prob.
