Oooh, one more thing. I there's anyone artistic and techy out there, it would be lovely to have a nice graphic for Generation Atheist. At the moment all we have is that very yellow lightbulb I randomly found.

Monday's Generation Atheist article is A Personal Story, By Zoe R. You can find it here:

In other news, I went away for a few days and came back to find my inbox flooded with submissions! This is all thanks to the Friendly Atheist blog, which kindly gave us a shout out. Thank you all who have sent me submissions. They will all appear on the blog at some point.

Laura, thank you for creating this resource. I'm 61, so I don't fit your target audience, but many young people write to me who feel terribly alone as atheists. They fear losing their friends, being harassed, abandoned, or abused by their families, and so they suppress themselves, and spiral down into the beginnings of depression. I will be referring them to your site. I know it can be a lot of work, but please keep it up. What you do is very needed and welcome.

Have a read of the latest article on Generation Atheist by Harry Bratt, about his problems with his school's end of year Communion. Here's the link:

Also, just to let you know that I am away for the weekend with no internet, so the last post before Monday will be tomorrow morning before I leave.

That's great, Mike. Just keep submitting for now, and I'll keep you posted on how things develop regarding how everything is going to be organised.

Hi everyone. The second post is up on Generation Atheist. This one is called "Are Proofs or Evidence for God Even Hypothetically Possible?" and is by Mike K. Here's the link:

Please read and leave Mike a comment.

In other news, I have contacted a few of the better known atheist blogs to let them know what we're doing and to see if they can get the word out to other young non believers.

Good idea, Mike. I think I will definitely look into that once we get going. I'll carry on putting the first couple of posts up myself, just to establish a regular format, but then it would be great to bring in regular contributors. But I also want to make sure that those who just want to submit on a one time basis can do that too. Would you be interested in being regular?

Yes, that'll be fine. Looking forward to reading it :)

Yeah, multi-part posts are always possible, even recommended for large topics!
