Comment by Sentient Biped on December 1, 2011 at 7:10pm I don't know which is more annoying - Bachmann or the people who applauded her. And what schools allow muslims but not christians to pray? Ms. Bachmann will eliminate the dept of education.... jesus...."When I was growing up in Iowa, there was no fed dept of education" - yeah, and look what resulted, dimwit.
Student questions Michele Bachmann on gay rights
On Wednesday, presidential candidate Michele Bachmann held a town hall meeting at the Pizza Ranch in Waverly, Iowa. The highlight of the eveningcame when a high school student in attendance raised her hand and asked Bachmann what she would do to support and protect the gay community.
Bachmann responded that all Americans should and do have the same rights, which drew a smattering of applause. The student responded: "Well, why can't same-sex couples get married?" Bachmann responded that gay men and lesbians do in fact have the same rights as everyone else because they can marry members of the opposite sex. So, a gay man could marry a woman. And a lesbian woman could marry a man. Even though they are gay. Got that?
You can watch a video of the full exchange, which also touches on prayer in school, after the jump below.
I don't think Bachman understands what it means to be gay.
In 8th grade we had a PSA project. ( Public Service Announcement) Don't Say Gay. I chose a funny way to present it. Subscribe! And thanks to my little brother for being the star!
This video was featured on AOL.com and the Huffington Post!

Comment by Sentient Biped on November 29, 2011 at 9:16am I don't think that guy is educatable. Language barrier aside, he makes little sense. Willful ignorance remains ignorance regardless of the hoops that one jumps through to inform. Might as well try teaching monkeys to crochet.
Comment by Sentient Biped on November 26, 2011 at 5:56pm Here's another compelling story, I think.
Mom:
"I'm glad I didn't tell you its OK because you would have been a bigger whore than you are now."
Dad:
"this cancer medication might make your son homosexual..."
Danny:
"Your son's a 'mo. Get used to it"
Yeah, well, brains are sexy, too. I always get a big rubbery one when I watch those brainy but not-so-good-looking physics guys on the BBC or PBS science documentary shows. They're so enthusiastic about their work, I just adore them.
Comment by Sentient Biped on November 26, 2011 at 5:32pm Sorry, really "no" to Brad Pitt, even at his peak. Honestly, I think brains are part of it, and I don't think he's much brighter than the average toy poodle. Hill Harper plays a doctor-turned-CSI in CSI NY. At least we are not competing in the same pond. Not that I'm competing with anyone anyway.
