Daniel, I just took the time to watch the "What About Gay Marriage?" video. What a hoot! Thanks for posting that.

Thank you Sacha. It's an interesting video.

The video I posted on the 14th of February played automatically when one comes here. It's quite annoying. I do not know how to embed that particular video without that "feature". I'm sorry. I've deleted it. Here is the link: gay animals

Parthenogenesis is interesting. Komodo dragons and some sharks, too. And aphids. They say that aphids are born pregnant. Or maybe it just seems that way.

I just found out about them too: New Mexican Whiptail Lizards? Something like that. The only difference with animals is they don't have any "closet" to speak of, and they don't really put themselves into categories.

Well, for me personally, the idea that some animals carry on gay relationships may be interesting, but 1.) we can never really know to what extent the animals emotions or gender perception is involved in these relationships, and 2.) it bears no significance on me as a gay man, or my right to be what I am. If no animals ever did it, or if homosexuality only occured in white men, or only in Americans, or only in left-handers, or whatever, is all completely irrelevant as far as I am concerned. It occured in me, and that is all the reason I need to justify its existence. As Pop-Eye said: I yam what I yam!

I've always liked this video about gay animals! Antigay people will say homosexuality is unnatural. If you point out that it occurs in nature, then they will just switch it up and say "just because animals do it does that mean we should?!"
