Chrissie, don't hold back!  Tell us what you really feel!  :-)

If Dick Chaney is anything to go by he and every member of his family are nothing more than offensive crap..His daughter may be gay but she is part of one of the most offensive family to ever walk the earth and she will have to show a lot more humanity before I would piss on her if she were on fire.  What Dick and Bush have done to our country is unforgivable so let them fester in their own feces.  In my opinion that whole bunch who have caused so much death and destruction are right up there with Adolph Hitler and the Nazi regime and they have caused the death of just about as many good people. The men of Scotland wear a skirt or a Kilt.  They would be the first to say that the Bush area of the US attitude was just about as screwed up as the Nazi era of Germany.I live in the USA but I am not an American.  This is a good country who is brainwashed into letting the idiots that are elected trash what is not the American way. I would love it if they would actually wake up to what they let themselves be dragged unto but they always let others take care of it. I am a transgender person and catch crap for it from those who call themselves Republican.  As a US Veteran of both Vietnam and Korea I feel that I have the right to have my say and I will support anyone, weather they wear a skirt or any other form of dress and yes even Black face if you can sort this mess out I am with you.

Maybe Mary Cheney (gag!) should have included other men who wear "dresses"...such as the entire Catholic hierarchy, Muddled Eastern men, and traditional (ceremonial) Greek soldiers.  Actually, to be fair, she ought to be just as scathing about women who wear slacks...(I haven't worn a skirt since I went to a memorial service in 2001...because I hate all the other junk that goes with them, like panty-hose.)

Mary Cheney, LesbiCylon spawn of RepubliCyborg Dick Cheney, spouted forth with commentary suggesting that Drag was the moral equivalent of blackface.

Matt  Baume had a response.

Why is it that Mary Cheney wants to wear blackface? What's up with her?

Child pornography at the Vatican.  The guardian.com

Also drug trafficking, money laundering.  Cocaine-stuffed condoms.  Oh wait - I thought the Catholic Empire was against condoms?

"only six people ended up in the Vatican’s prison last year (including)...an Italian protester who climbed atop St Peter’s Basilica, and...a Femen activist who bared her breasts and grabbed a baby Jesus statue from the Vatican’s nativity scene."

Puerto Rico pastor Jose Santiago outed as former gay porn guy (I hate to use the term "actor" or "star"). Multiple stores on google. All basically the same. There are some links in the comments on Joe.my.god blog, in case no one knows what a gay porn guy does. Warning, it involves being naked and doing stuff with other naked guys and is very not safe for work unless you are a republican congressman or catholic priest.

'In those days I was gay and participated in homosexual activities, but God touched me, God transformed me, God gave me a woman who loves me and she loves my past"

Stories claim he is anti-gay, but it looks to me more like he's an opportunist with internalized homophobia. Headlines also list him as a priest, but he's married and looks to be more a minister of a protestant offshoot. All makes for more exciting headlines, I guess.  He claims, of course, that his god saved him from gay porn.

He's not the first to do that transition. The Reverend Bobby Blake takes a different approach, using his porn past as a way to attract attention and make money, while at the same time being against marriage equality (no links to explicit stuff provided here - that would violate terms of service).

There seems to be an entire genre of others who have made similar transitions from adult film industry to christian proselytizing industry.

>never be an end to the catholic war on humanity.

And [the priests] did not know how to love their God except by crucifying man.

The think progress rss aboce is interesting. Accepting gay marriage is like asking a Jew to eat bacon. Actually, it might be like asking a Jewish person to not discriminate against prople who dont folloe Jewish orthodox law. Which is not the same thing. Then again, Huckabee probably needs the money to be made drome homophobic pandering. So he can bring home the bacon.

There will never be an end to the catholic war on humanity. Too bad they never recognize a supposedly celebate but in reality sexually abusive and often pederastic clergy, as antifamily.

Italy: Rome recognizes civil unions; Catholic Church decries ‘anti-family itinerary’

Rome this week began to register same-sex civil unions. “Today the capital of Italy gives the signal that, in this city, love is the same for everyone,” cheered Marino Sindaco. (Translation courtesy of Google.) No cheers from the Catholic Church, which disparaged the move as an “ideological bluff.” Pink News reports that the editor of the website for the Rome diocese called the civil unions vote “a symbolic stage in an anti-family itinerary that opens up disturbing horizons damaging children.”

France: Anti-gay Catholic group buys neighboring gay bar at auction

An anti-gay Catholic organization, The Missions of Divine Mercy, bought at bankruptcy auction a gay bar in the city of Toulon. The group put out a statement that said in part, “The important of this place for the evangelization of the neighborhood is clear. The bar of Sodom will now become the pub of Mercy.”
