Daniel the Apostate mentioned the futility of trying to persuade the stupid.
This reminds me of an old campaign legend from the days when the Democrat Adlai Stevenson was running against Republican Dwight D. Eisenhower (this was back in the days when Republicans were more human and reasonable and fiscal conservative "mind your own business" liberals and more isolationist.) Anyway, as the story goes...
Adlai Stevenson was giving a stump speech to a large crowd under a large shade tree in a public park, someplace in the vast openness of the Midwest (USA).
Stevenson said, "Every intelligent man will vote for me," to which a man near the front of the outdoor audience replied, "Mr. Stevenson, that's unfortunate, because you will need the majority to win!"

Parden the sexist language but those were those times.

Thanks for the Livescience website. I was not aware of most of the info. 450-500 species with immoral, sinful behavior. Hope they're forgiven.

LGBTQ animals (can we just say "gay animals?" or not?) are always fun to read about. THis from my new favorite website, second to Nexus of course:

"Traditional Marriage" isn't traditional. from Hanna Rosen in XXfactor: " Marriage in the Bible was almost always polygamous. The Western understanding of marriage does not in fact date back to the story of creation, as he writes. It dates back to the eighteenth century, when the radical idea of love marriage got introduced." ... "If you really want to go back and preserve some older version of marriage, you’ll have to go back two hundred years to a time when it did not presume love or choice."

You are right about swaying the stupid. If if the intended audience includes "intelligent" people, they can't be thinking critically, or thinking at all. Stupid is as stupid does.

It's the same tactic of preaching fear with lies and embellishments to sway the stupid...I mean masses.

Orange, this video isn't in New Zealand but I expect she said similar drivel.

I'm not sure she's teaching hate as much as stupidity. She seems to think that homo sapiens is headed the same direction as the dodo bird due to same sex marriage. "I don't know but I don't want to be extinct". Ummmm.... humanity's main risk of becoming extinct is by overreproducing, destroying the earth by pollution, destruction of resources, extinction of ecosystems, war over resources, climate change.

I checked on Audible and they don't have it. I would have to order it through Amazon. I don't have a Kindle.
