Dr. Kellie that is so cool!  I've been watching for your pic there.  Now you're famous!  Great pic and heartwarming bio.

Glitter Bombing.  I'm not crazy about this.  It's basically a mild form of assault.  Drama has its place but I don't see what this accomplishes.  Am I wrong?

A lot of people are really mad at Dan Choi, who apparently thinks that politicians who are 75% supportive or 90% supportive are not good enough and should be rejected in favor of politicians who are 100% against LGBT rights. My own view of Obama in particular and democrats in general continues to evolve. Personally, I still prefer them very much to the alternative, but recognizing that we need to keep them working for our votes and not take us for granted..

I agree Morgan is a trivial person.  He doesn't seem very bright either - basically a clown.  Makes me sad.  I like Louis CK's video on the Catholic church.  IT's one of my favorites.

I think if I was in a audience and, for whatever reason, someone said the things that Tracy said, I wouldn't be able to stay.  Even if is was as known gay person, say, Ellen Degeneres, I would hate it.  Sometimes I think Ann Coulter isn't serious, she's just saying what she says for shock value, basically a skinny white blonde republican Tracy Morgan.

If the things Tracy Morgan said are just "performance art", then it's fair for the negative responses to be considered "performance art" as well.  Im too dense to know how to react to someone who says something outrageous, bigoted, and mean, but then they are just joking, but they don't say just joking.  I feel the same way about the "lesbian bloggers" who are really just married white men who want to convince everyone they are lesbians for.....  what?  And the Vegetarian magazine that used photos of meat and edited it to look like fake meat so readers would think the fake meat would look like real meat that was really real meat doctored to look like fake meat.

Actually, it's pretty ironic that maybe Tracy Morgan is soiling his pants right now thinking he's out of a job because he thinks people beleive his act pretending to be a bigot, when they are really just using him as an example of what happens to bigots and maybe they don't really beleive that he beleives what he said but they are only pretending to beleive him.

So basically, Tracy Morgan and CK are a form of Poe.  I think GW Bush was a form of Poe too.   And Richard Nixon.

To anyone who has trouble posting here, try clicking on the html box. i could not post until i clicked on the box. Still can't get pics to post. bummer.

Mike, I see his point but I don't agree with it. What he seems to be saying is that you can cay anything as outrageous as you want, and if you take offence it's none of your business, it was 'irony' and that you just don't get it. It seems to mean there are no limits at all. That being said, I don't think there would be limits to criticism either? I might just be confused. Where Louis CK quotes himself about rape, I don't find him at all funny either....

UN officially backs gay rights.

"Backers included the U.S., the European Union, Brazil and other Latin American countries. Those against included Russia, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria and Pakistan. China, Burkina Faso and Zambia abstained, Kyrgyzstan didn't vote and Libya was suspended from the rights body earlier."

Burkina Faso is really starting to piss me off. I think we should call for a LGBT boycott of Ouagadougou. That will bring them to their knees, I'm sure of it. Oh, and Russia and China too. But why concentrate on the negatives?

The declaration was cautiously worded, expressing "grave concern" about abuses because of sexual orientation and commissioning a global report on discrimination against gays
