Noticed some more new members to the group - welcome! Please feel free to comment and discuss, new topics and old. You can view older topics by clicking on "view all".

Having to work for a living and that work being overwhelming, I've had a lull posting here myself lately. I would love to see what other people are thinking these days.

I just watched the Polish priest video. I need to lie down. I think my blood pressure just went off the scale.

Great comic, Pi! I got a nice chuckle at the end. Jesus looks all depressed.

If you got an accurate cross-section of society through randomized sampling, dividing into three groups (according to how the person self-identifies as "heterosexual", "bi", or "homosexual"). It would require the samples of the groups be roughly equal, or at least large enough to have an adequate n.

To be perfect, Daniel the Apostate is correct that it would be necessary to control for an extreme number of variables. However, for the first few studies in the series, fewer variables would need to be controlled and could be later refined through derivative work.

The only way for such a study to be statistially valid would be to include nutrition status, body habitus, age, ethnicity, kinsey scale status, birth order, and circumcision status, in a polynomial regression model. That will also be helpful with the baseball player issue.

I don't know if there will be a conflating issue of "grow-ers" vs. "show-ers". That might be a separate study.

Unfortunately, I'm too old and tired for such an exstensive research project. Mike, I'll leave that up to you.
