OK, then, here's a little humor:
A little old lady goes to the doctor and says,
"Doctor I have this terrible problem with gas, I can't seem to stop farting. They never smell and are always silent but it's still a problem all the same. Believe it or not I've farted at least 20 times since I've been here in your office."
The doctor says, "I see, take these pills and come back to see me next week."
The next week the lady comes back. "Doctor," she says, "I don't know what the hell you gave me, but now my farts stink terribly!"
The doctor says, "Good!!! Now that we've cleared up your sinuses, let's work on your hearing."

"By the way, it's fantastic to see more discussion in this group and on this site. Very cool!"

Isn't it just? To be honest, personally the clunkiness of the site, lack of action when I'm awake (the place dies when the Americans go to bed!) and lack of humour has put me off posting much. Still, if one isn't part of the solution one can't really complain.

And on that note, I'm going to upload a video of me singing a song about rubber.

If this commentary about nuns their habits can move on to the gay penguin controversy, there would be no end to the silliness.

As for hateful propagand spread by theistic demagogues, their words don't just spread hate in their communities, they serve as examples and give excuses for hate crimes against GLBTQIA people. They also provide wedge issues to unite the 'base of hate' to motivate them, give money to their political organizations, and influence elections.

I read the book ages ago. Big deal - a book describing how to get people used to they fact that they ahve gay neigbors, family members, and coworkers. Big deal - a book that helps promote homosexuality as ordinary - which is exactly what it is.

The video takes the view that it's bad for GLBTQIA to promote their cause. They are wrong. It's bad to promote hate. And that is what the video does.

Jason, you should be ashamed of yourself!

Such jokes are a very bad habit.

Thanks Marx, what a load of crap, they get crazier by the day. Why would god, who supposedly created everything have the slightest interest in who we go to bed with or how. We do have a certain status though, we are one of the last minorities it is still legal to hate.

In case you didn't see this, Rep. Sally Kern of Oklahoma has come out with a Proclamation for Morality. It seems that the real cause of the economic crisis is gay marriage, among other forms of "debauchery". Here's the link to the story: http://www.rightwingwatch.org/content/sally-kerns-proclamation-morality

Wasn't the hockey mom last week resembling the same commentary? I'm curious if she's gonna lead the plight of the victimized right? Ahhh, poor republican right wing zealots!!!

Good idea. Then we could have a bonfire party to burn 'em.
