That ad doesn't show up for me. (Sometimes that happens from copying-and-pasting from a webmail account. You see what you posted because you're logged into your mail, but other people literally don't get the picture. The workaround is to save a copy of the picture to your computer, then Add Image "from my computer".)
On a more general, and happier note, congratulations to Illinois for joining the 20th century! (Mostly the 21st, but I couldn't resist using the technicality that the Netherlands' equal marriage law was signed in 2000.)
Coming home from work a couple nights ago I encountered this unexpected advertisement on the train. It made me smile and it made me proud.
The "Center On Halsted" here in Chicago is our LGBTQ community center.
Gods are for wimps
A perfect Twitter reply by Str8Grandmother, to a theistic objection to equal marriage passing both houses of the Hawaii legislature:
"Oh honey it's okay. You can still hate the Gays if you want. It's just that the Government won't hate them for you."

Thanks, Daniel. I'm on the Think Progress e-mail list. Lot's of good stuff.
Added RSS feed from Think Progress. Hoping it's useful and interesting.
Hawaii passed marriage equality. It has been a tough fight there.
"Outside the chambers, both opponents and proponents of the marriage equality bill were actively demonstrating... Tensions were apparently so high... bathrooms were segregated based on individuals’ position on the bill."
Also from the article, Democrat, Lesbian legislator Jo Jordan stood by her vote against the bill. "...she said that she had “no conviction” about the issue...could relate to the religious beliefs ...she never wanted to be a spokesperson for the LGBT community..."
Glad it passed.
I guess here is the 2nd half of the "Gay in the South" package....
