Story update/revision.  In the interest of providing truth and facts I offer the following:

Stoning Death Of Gay Somali May Never Have Happened

"LGBTQ Nation is reporting that they cannot confirm the story of a allegedly gay Somali teen who was reportedly stoned to death last week as punishment for being gay. This is an unfortunate reality with regards to Somalia. The nation basically has no functioning government and little in the way of reliable news."

That being said, worldwide human rights groups are quite aware that vigilante justice commonly occurs throughout certain regions of some African countries.  As this article further states:

"This is not the first time that a story about a supposedly gay man being executed horrifically in Africa has proven to be only partially true. A graphic video of a man being lit on fire while wearing a tire that circulated in 2011 proved to be true up to a point. A man was executed, but he had been accused by the local mob of being a thief, not of being gay."

And last year, this horrific video surfaced.

This apparently is a gay kiss scene that appeared in the daytime TV soap Days of Our Lives recently. (Or should that be gaytime TV?) Looks like the original versions have been removed, but several people have posted it with music over the audio. This one at least has subtitles.

Another sad day for humanity:

18-Year Old Stoned To Death In Somalia For Being Gay

An allegedly gay man Mohamed Ali Baashi was buried in the ground up to his chest and stoned to death on 15 March in Barawe some fifty miles form the Somali capital of Mogadishu. According to reports, Al-Qaeda linked Al Shabaab ordered the attack after charging and finding Baashi guilty of sodomy. Members of Al Shabaab stood behind the judges who passed sentence while wearing face masks and showing off their rifles.
