A haunting look backat the Nazi persecution of homosexuals.

I wish I could see the exhibit, even though it would depress me.  Florida is too far away.  Photos tell me more than words, and this exhibit has hundreds.

This is a reminder, also, that threats by bigots always need to be countered.  This is what they want, again.  Not an exaggeration -    even today, people like hate group leader Tony Perkins are often on TV representing "conservative" point of view,  and multiple leaders of these "conservative christian" "pro family" groups have supported and lauded the Ugandan plans for jailing, persecution, and in some cases execution, of LGBT citizens.

The photo of the two bearded gentlemen is beautiful.  I saw it printed with a news article and it just made me smile with satisfaction.

This is really great news. Now the watch is on to see what the Supreme Court will decide. At least marriage rights are going in the healthy direction.

via joe.my.god which has lots of great stuff today.  What a cute couple.  by the way, I remember when I moved 20 years ago to the Pacific NW.  My Midwest friends said "why? You into flannel or something?"  Never regretted it.

By the way, someone who often logs into Nexus,  also applied for a marriage license today, in Clark County WA.  Nondramatic.  People were nice.

No one ever accused the reparative therapy crowd (think Marcus Bachmann) of using logic, but their latest claim is hair-brained and hilarious. The purveyors of false science being forced out of play, false false science people will perform their abortions in dark places at night with coat hangers.
