Cool video of Chinese (Taiwan) take on Dan Savage vs. GOProud.   I think they give GOProud too much credit but then I am biased.

GAY HUMANISM

Over the past two to three decades gay humanist and atheist groups have been set up in the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden.

GOProud has to be the most repugnant group around. Dan Savage is right. They are House F**ggots.

Self-identified "Bible Christian" bad for business in Moline Illinois....

If she's really a Bible Christian™ I suppose her business does not have receptions on the Sabbath (a "Big 10" commandment), that they make sure the brides are virgins, that they don't serve shrimp or lobster at their receptions, that no women on their period attend..... or is she just a pick-a-choose bible bigot?

The Young Turk on GOProud.  Of all the names GOProud could have taken....  No pride at all, except in their money and support of the bigoted Republican regime.   What will they have next - MaggieProud, for NOMtastic homos?

I forget, what is the difference between GOProud and Log Cabin Rebublicans?

Judge says harassment and bullying not a human rights violation.

Court: Human Rights Law Doesn't Cover Public School Students

New York's highest court ruled that the state's Human Rights Law does not protect students against harassment and discrimination in public schools.

As a result of today's ruling by the state Court of Appeals, these students are now denied access to the law's comprehensive protections.

@Joan   I totally agree with Sentient.  For these people, the word of god supersedes any scientific facts.  Thankfully their numbers are dwindling, just not fast enough for us.  Basically we're in a waiting game as they slowly catch up to the modern era.  This will take a few more generations.  This issue was discussed in a conversation recently between Daniel Dennet and Richard Dawkins that Hemant Mehta posted over on his blog, The Friendly Atheist.

Recovering from Religion
