When Oregon briefly declared same gender marriage legal, my partner and I lined up and were officially married in Oregon. Unfortunately the majority of people of Oregon then had a paroxysm of bigotry and nullified all of the marriages. Im happy for the New Yorkers. One more step of progress.

Now what can we do to get Rick Perry to push similar legislation through in Texas?
