I made a logo for frisco atheists that more closely matches the 'serif' font that frisco uses.

To be honest, I appreciate Josh Murray's comment. I agree. We should give the attendees an idea of what to expect out of a meeting. I think that having closed meetings (Atheist only) and open meetings makes sense. Remember there are no sides on here. If there were, we'd be no better than the religious fundementalists that want to kill us. Hope everyone is doing well!

This will be my last input on the topic of meetings. I don't feel that the meetings need "focus" since they are really just social meetings. I had always thought the idea was simply to have like minded people get together, not to have a specific agenda. Just a bunch of atheists getting together to talk about whatever, not even necessarily religion, without having to have those stupid questions posed by believers like "don't you worry about your soul" or don't you worry about this or that because of their invisible daddy in the sky punishing us if we refuse to capitulate. And the ever present what could life possibly mean without a god to create that meaning for us. All of those questions have a deep underlying passive aggressive tone that revolves around the fear and blackmail that these people live with day in and day out and also make accusations that we "know" there is a god and just choose to turn our backs on him/her/it. They can't fathom that we really don't believe and have to keep asking those same stupid questions and I really don't feel compelled to answer them (since they are as nonsensical and infantile as them asking us aren't we afraid that santa won't leave us gifts if we're not good) or even have them imposed upon myself on my free time. Have fun at the meeting and once a consensus is reached as to how they will be handled in the future, post to the board so everyone knows what to expect in the future.
