Researchers from the U.S. National Institute on Aging have concluded from a study they conducted in Italy that people characterized by antagonistic personality traits are more prone to having heart attacks and strokes than are people characterized by friendly personality traits. The study included more than 5,000 subjects over a wide age range. The results have been published in Hypertension: Journal of the American Heart Association.
