Fractals for the fun of it!

art solos 1 with fractals, video

Unbelievable shapes, textures, structures, all in full color, changing to infinity or seen as stills. This is truly an art form.

Making the invisible visible, making order out of chaos. The hidden dimension.

Yes Sentient, it is Romanesco broccoli, or Roman cauliflower, is an edible flower of the species Brassica oleracea, and a variant form of cauliflower. First documented in Italy, it is light green in color and is a natural approximation of a fractal.

The one labeled "Image 1956" or something (I can't recall the whole number) looks just like Italian Broccoli

The helical model - our solar system is a vortex

Using Fractal/Fibonacci/Golden ratio, gives a different perspective of our sun, planets and the universe.

I have no idea if any of this makes sense or means anything, but it does generate interesting ideas from different perspectives. If nothing else, it is an interesting image. I image going through space, following our sun with our other plants in tow, and going through the universe toward infinity.

What difference dos that make if my life span is, say 100 years? Well, it makes a difference on how I perceive myself in relation to all that is, was and will be.

I hope you have as much fun with fractal geometry as I do.

We live in a fractal hologram

Just imagine putting a simple formula into a computer, go to bed and when you awaken, this is what you have! I just get shivers thinking about the implications.

"frac·tal - n.A geometric pattern that is repeated at ever smaller scales to produce irregular shapes and surfaces that cannot be represented by classical geometry. Fractals are used especially in computer modeling of irregular patterns and structures in nature."

Steph, I am so glad you are part of fractals. They are so much fun, just seeing diversity. I just realized I haven't put added the really cool ones. I have a doctor's appointment, but will add some really pretty ones when I can. Welcome!
