If you are in the Ft Wood area or have orders here--if you know anyone who is stationed here or has orders here, we welcome you to join us or pass on our welcome message. We are a fledgling organization. You may not be aware that Ft Wood is the home of the infamous "Free Day Away". This is reason enough to support an atheist presence in this area. MAAF is one or our sponsors!
MY grandfather was a WWII vet.
I'll be speaking at
Washington Area Skeptical Humanists (wash.org) near DC on Oct 1st.

Harvard Divinity School October 3rd.
Check out http://blog.militaryatheists.org/ for big updates including a re-write of an Army chaplain website and an apology from Arlington National Cemetery.
