Pat, about the "map"...I'm puzzled that they didn't use more different colors of corn...no dark reds or blues.  Unless they were trying to avoid making political statements....

Maybe.

Pat Spring will come.  For sure.

That rhubarb syrup sounds better every time I think about it.  Sorry Randall.

I still have rhubarb (and asparagus) in the freezer. And they're two "early risers". However, this year, I'm sure they'll be "sleeping in"! Rhubarb syrup sounds awful, I must confess. I'll stick to blueberry.

Spring has been long in coming here. There was a bright spot yesterday, when I saw the first daffodil of the year coming up. Though, NOAA is predicting snow this evening, but there probably wont be an accumulation.

I've never had rhubarb syrup, though it sounds good. Here's one recipe I found on line.

Spring is here with exuberance.  We had fresh home grown scallions for the chili last night.  There is enough fresh rhubarb for me to make a pie if I could find the energy!  Maybe a rhubarb syrup for pancakes?  Never tried that.

I noticed Illinois was made from popcorn. They really should have used that for Nebraska, since they're the largest producer. Illinois is #3, right behind Indiana.

Felaine, someone has too much time on their hands.

Maps made from food, but the "artists" left out some of the oldest settled places iin the world (unless they are still working on the project...)  semi-boring. IMO

Also visited Blaine/Bellingham nearly every month as a kid. Most of the camping was done near Blaine.

We did 2 Alaskan cruises & they were GOR-JUSS!!!! The scenery along the coastal areas is top notch.
