What do you like? For me it's starchy foods, mostly baked. Pies, breads, casseroles, pastas, tamales, dumplings.
I like cooking the breads, casseroles, and pies. A weekend without a pie is wasted.
Aw, c'mon! you know what I mean!
(Right now I'm wiping tears from my eyes after listening to "Over the Rainbow," and then "Wind Beneath My Wings." I can't help it; I try to be a smutty-mouth smart a$$, but some things get to me.)
Didja know that the man who wrote the lyrics to "Over the Rainbow," Yip Harburg, was an atheist? True.
Sorry. Poor self control on my part. But that really was my first thought. :-)
Thass awlrite. I got a giggle from it. Glass eyes dropping all over the place.
Whatever he was, he had heart! Why am I not surprised that he was an atheist?!
No self-control here either, so I'll mention a relevant tangent: in "The IRS Audit", a guy wins a bet with his tax auditor, and then things get weirder... it's a joke that's been around the internet, as told at eBaum's World and at JumboJoke.
(OK, barely enough self-control to not repost that slightly long joke here.)
Hehaheha! I never expected that!
Didja see this collection? (I'll re-post it in the cat fan group)
Love those, Sk8eycat. I want a cat so bad!!
I understand. I was catless for 3 years when I was touring with Holiday, and hated it.
A couple of the other girls took their cats (both Siamese) on the road, but they may have started training them for travel when they were kittens. I never asked. I just thought that trains and hotel rooms were not proper places for pets...for the pets' sakes. That was in the mid-1960s...before organic litter brands came on the market, and before most hotels became somewhat pet-friendly.
So I sprained my ankle badly, and got sent home to my kitties, and decided to stay here.
Felaine, I meant your cat photos are funny. Sorry about your ankle ending your career and the good thing is, you decided to stay there and take care of cats. Good choice for you and cats.
Thanks for the Ginger crust Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe Pat. It does sound delicious.
I've got it saved in my Food folder and printed-out for the kitchen.
