Clearly, Republicans in Florida are indoctrinated fools.  This will have to be dealth with in court as the politicians act with impunity.  The Constitution means nothing to them except to pay it lip service and use its name when politically expedient.  Unfortunately, a majority of Floridians are so poorly educated they don't know the difference.  What is even worse, many social studies teachers focus on the Declaration of Independence and ignore the Constitution.  This is because of the references to god used in order to help incite the country to treason against England.  Most people do not understand that the Declaration has nothing to do with governing the country.  Ugh... it's exhausting.  Nevertheless, we can only fight this stupidity in court after these rediculous laws are passed.  This, of course, only costs the taxpayers of Florida even more...

Very well stated Marcy; unfortunately, the stupidity isn't limited to Florida, as the same crap is occurring all across the lower states and out west.  The wingnuts have a stranglehold in all elected offices, and this problem will remain for a long time to come.  I just hope I'm still around to see a change in thinking, but with the government running education, I am not very optimistic.
