Human soul

I've heard many so called atheists refer to the "soul" as if it actually existed.  My question is:  If you believe humans have a soul are you really an atheist? Continue

Ahhh...why not? Here's your 50%

(I first heard the "bottle in front of me" line at a Trek convention back in the ' the Roto-Rooter Goodtime Christmas Band.  Wonder if they're still around....)  Thanks for the memory.

Rather a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotomy!

Francis Albert Farmer maybe.  That would explain her erratic behavior and inability to sustain a relationship with men.   HA-HA! That's the big secret her (also crazy) mother held over her!!

Thank you for the edit.  It was a fifty-fifty proposition so I should get 50% credit.  No?

God almost always shows up a little too late.  After the damage is done, here he comes, late as usual.

My mean, old, French Canadian Grammy used to say the same "Shit in one hand..."

Hey everybody, I got one for a research project.  Francis Farmer, the wild and crazy, but brilliant actress, was given an “Ice pick” frontal lobotomy, and released to continue her life unabated by any further psychiatric frivolities

Aside from losing her ability to act well she soon found god.

Following a frontal lobotomy, she found religion!  Anomaly of fruit from the poison tree?

I have no idea how anyone would go about finding and coordinating data, but it would be so cool to see a statistic:  99% of people who got one, also got a make-believe sugar daddy!

Of course they wouldn't mention it seeing that all of these churches are splinters from the Catholic Church and the reveal the hypocrisy of that institution. Although the Catholic Church claims the Gospels of Paul to justify celibacy (better to burn and all that crap). The real reason behind was theft, pure and simple. Individuals were using their "exalted" positions to rob the church blind. In addition,, with all of the legitimate and illegitimate children that as heirs to their fathers, the CHurch realized their money would go elsewhere. Thus celibacy and no marriage. Paul? Bull kaka.

Joan--It wasn't me, by grandmother used to say to us when we wished for something, "shit in one hand and wish in the other" and see which one fills up first. I guess there is a great similarity there. I don't know who said it, but the invisible and nothing look a lot alike.

Donald, I think you list of casualties, "Where was he on 9/11? What about during the great Tsunami, the Sandy Lake massacre or during Katrina?" is further evidence of no god and creationists can't argue with that fact. Was it you who mentioned getting a milk bottle and praying to it, and praying to god, and see which gives you the clearest answer?
