Sorry all! That last post got mangled worse than a creationist quoting "science". Who doesn't love them some 2nd Law of Thermodynamics talk though, right?
We're in the last stage of funding for a film that a memorable Pro-Atheism, Pro-Reason, Pro-Science film that will entertain free-thinkers and moderates and terrify fundamentalists.

Comment by otto parts on July 2, 2012 at 9:21am I do like the discussion about timeless morals. It's always struck me as odd to say that morals are objective while at the same time reading a book that gives moral guidance on things like slavery, and how to kill children.
Some Christians will tell you that it was a "different time."
I just ask them what it was about that time that made morality different. I ask them if God is a moral relativist. If they reject that, then I ask them if slavery and the killing of children are indeed part of Gd's plan.
