........The Vanishing ( foreign version) horrific as utterly plausible. Kid-knapping and buried alive tale. This one spooked me so much I wouldn't dream of poking my head near someone's car window to consult their map if asked for directions anymore.Sociopaths seem utterly normal.

Just saw Senseless. I put it as a favourite because for once its not mindless. World Bank cog in the wheel gets kidnapped for conning poor countries into loans they can't pay back for US leverage in the world. As the kidnapper remarks....better than a peace treaty. Disturbing clinical sadism hard to watch but off-set by intelligence throughout and well acted.
