Mayan archaeological find in North Georgia?
I stumbled across this story on Yahoo and found some more about it online.
Has an 1100 year old Mayan site been discovered in the Georgia moun...
I haven't bothered checking the Mormon blogosphere to see if this is reigniting hopes of finding real evidence allegedly supporting the historicity of the Book of Mormon. Does anyone else know about this find, the Mormon reaction to it, and whether the dig is being funded by LDS organizations/people?
