I thought I’d try and re-launch this page as an Eastern Kentucky regional thing. I was sorry to see the TAG meetings come to an end but it’s hard to keep things rolling month after month. It’s my hope that those that find this page will be able to reach out and meet others in the area that think as they do. For now though, I have no plans on committing to a scheduled meeting regimen.

So…with this re-launch, let’s start networking and pulling together to make a real community in the mountains for atheists.

Tons of stuff for June:

Sam Singleton will be at McCarthy's Irish Bar (Lexington) the 11th at 7pm

TAG meetups going on the 12th @4pm, the 18th @4pm, and th 23rd @6pm in the Ashland public library

And of course don't miss the first Kentucky Skepticamp at the Louisville public library from 9:30am to 4pm with a Skeptic's in the Pub directly afterward hosted by the LAS.

April Stuff:

Next TAG meeting will be Thursday the 21st at the Boyd Co. Library. We'll be discussing Dan Barker's Book - "Losing Faith in Faith" from 5pm to 6pm with the regular meeting from 6pm onward.

 

The TAG group will also be having a dinner out on Saturday, April 30, at 5:00 PM

March Stuff:

The Lexington Skeptics will be meeting the 10th at 7pm in the Horse & Barrel on Broadway

The next TAG meeting will be meeting the 17th at 6pm in the Boyd Co. Public Library

The Lexington Atheists will also be meeting this month at the Common Grounds coffee house TBA

Thank you to Mark for the link above.

I told all the guys at the Lexington Atheist group last night about "tag" and we might be able to get one or two to come speak to us. Two of them are plaintiffs in the Homeland Security court battle which is still ongoing.

I don't live in Ashland any longer but I was born and raised in Greenup.  I went to the Unitarian Fellowship in Huntington.  Have you all checked it out?  There were a lot of atheists there when I attended.  Congrats on forming a much needed group for your area.
