Comment by Lillie on Friday I was maintaining my weight really well until my doctor put me on a low cholesterol diet. I immediately gained 5 lbs. on this diet. Would it be better to be lighter with higher cholesterol or heavier with low cholesterol? This is very discouraging. However, I do not want to be put on medication to control cholesterol.
