I agree with you guys but I honestly think (hope) Obama is going to kick their a&^%$es after the election. We can't expect him to single handedly topple this corporate state in 3 years. He must have something up his sleeve.

 

And I agree that Ayn Rand was a nut. Ron Paul named his son after her!?  on that topic:

At election times coming,. The great crusades of converions are coming into place, As they thank they are above all others, in philosophy and morals from indoctrinated superstitions of a religion,  this tool of convitions will bring out the hate, lies, demonising, and trickery, As to take away are rights, and freedom, to a entity of laws of dogma!!!

This is not America of freedom and all peoples rights,  What are they trying to sell!!!  Maybe to sell big money corporations???

I'm really pissed at the Republicans at the moment, because we're having a special election to replace our representative in Nevada -- the Republican is putting out hysterical scare literature, and the Democrat is putting out rational, reasoned literature. But who do you think the stupids will respond to?????

This is called anti-intellectualism. They're from a culture that values faith and dismisses science and critical thinking. They don't feel compelled to respond to reality and simply throw out gut appeals to like-minded (or manipulated) bigots. GBA!

Just saw Michele Bachmann on Face the Nation. I think she managed to dodge ever single question. She just exudes stupidity/ignorance. Between her and Sarah Palin, I wonder which has the lower IQ. They both have to be below average (don't they?).

Roman has it right. He's just too nice of a guy. He has tried so hard to compromise when the GOP was out for blood. Compromise is impossible when one of the parties won't budge. :-(

As far as the debt -- I saw a graph that showed that the ONLY time there was a surplus since Eisenhower (?) was with a DEMOCRATIC president, Clinton. What is there about this picture that people don't understand?????
