Welcome to Dark Atheists

I started this group because I was looking for a similar one and it does'nt exist here on A/N. If your sick of feeling left out for being dark and moody or hardcore and brash-then guess what your my new friend. I want this group to be one big place to vent about how annoying society is. Basically anything that expresses yourself like, darkness, things that are creepy, fav rock bands, poetry, vampires, movies, TV shows-whatevs. Just share-its interesting. Welcome :)

What are your dark fantasies?

This morning I reacted to a zombie picture with a fantasy. I've often felt that identifying with monster characters, like Annie in Being Human, is a way to express a part of ourselves that didn't fit…Continue

I'm not a satanist but a devil's advocate. Lucifer by Glen Duncan appeals to my sense of humour.I think being born and having lived in London encourages it as they tend to have a dark sense of humour.( that why its bloody this bloody that with us? )
The beginning of Lucifet had a dead funny way of describing the 7 days of Creation from an atheist piss-take.

Hello Cory,

The bible I got is the Anton Le Vey one. I grew up in the bay area in California and went to see the Satanic church there once. Boring really.

I know that Merciful Fate, then later the singer King Diamond when he went solo actually belived in all that stuff. Most of the bands I think went fir shock value though. The great early eighties band Satan for example. I still have no idea why they went with that name other than shock value since their music isn't satanic. I prefer punk mostly though. A lot punk is all about atheism, or I should say are atheists. Some great anti religeon/christianity songs out there.

Hey Michael, Welcome to the group. I do not really think that most of the music groups that claim to be satanic are just going for shock value. which version of the satanic bible do you have?

Hi everyone, Like the idea of this group... well except for the whole satanism thing. Don't get me wrong, I like bands like Venom and Merciful Fate (saw both of them in concert even). I always viewed them like a horror movie though. People who actually believe is satanism are just christians who are sick of christians imo though. It's all cowing to your imaginary friend. I have the satanic bible and it reads like an athiest bible except for the whole bible thing. Oh yeah, all you into punk and hardcore, Attitude Adjustment is back together!!

@Sean Murphy My own experience is that all too many Satanists are really Ayn Randites whose Satanism is really a reactionary response to herd mentality.  But then I only know from a splinter group, the Temple of Set, which was composed mostly of bores.  (They threw me out for drinking and pederasty, the latter a projection of the Ipsissypus (leader), actually accused of pedophile doings in the San Francisco area.)  He later wrote me to say it had become obvious to him that I was unfit to be a member of his Temple.  I was tempted to frame it I was so proud.  Now, I happen to know a bit of the history of Satanism, having read Huysmans, Papus, et al.  In fact, I am working on a screenplay about Huysmans' adventures in the occult world of Paris in the Belle Epoque.

Hello fellow atheists!  I have joined this site in an attempt to find other rational individuals, such as myself, and to promote a current charity drive that I am trying to get going for the Oklahoma tornado victims.  I have managed to get many groups from around my area, including the Beyond Belief Foundation to back me on this endeavor.

I am located in Newnan, Ga and have my own atheist group entitled "Coweta County Atheists".  I am currently being backed by Spaulding Co.…

Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film video

Posted by Debra Stevenson on May 21, 2013 at 2:37pm 0 Comments

There is a video of the Pope's 'exorcism' caught on film.  The man isn't demon possessed, there are likely no 'real' demons.  He's just delusional and doesn't want to accept personal responsiblity for his own behavior for his own dysfunctional life.

Do you support 'traditional' marriage, vot now ad

There is an ad that reads ' Do you support 'traditional' marriage? Vote Now"!  .

No, I don't support 'traditional' marriage because there is no such thing. I support heterosexual and same-sex couples marry each other legally , yes.  'Traditional' marriage promoters largely do not believe that heterosexual women are co-equal to their husbands.  Their only purpose in 'traditional' marriage is to sexually satisfy their husbands if they can and raise children and do all…
