Do people pat you on the head?

It still happens now and then - a coworker or friend will pat me on the head, or rub my head. Sometimes male, sometimes female. That never happened when I had a full head of hair. Shortly after I decided to embrace my growing baldness, and I bought my own clippers and cut it all off, people starting patting or rubbing my scalp.

People are strange.

No, but I love watching people's eyes during a conversation, especially if they are experiencing a "recession" of their own. Haha. Typically it's a mixture of wonder and horror. Nobody believes me that I prefer being bald now. More commonly, I get asked how often I have to cut it.

I never had anyone (that wasn't a girlfriend or wife) rub or pat my balding head, but it happens frequently now. A woman's hand on my pate is rather sexy I think.

Maybe getting a tattoo up there will deter it. While this looks like me from the back, unfortunately, it's not.
