I just taught myself to crochet a couple of years ago. I could NOT get the hang of it as a child, in spite of my mother and two older sisters who were avid crocheters. A friend taught me to knit about 12 years ago, but I didn't keep up with that. I also like counted cross stitch and sewing clothes. Looking forward to making cute outfits for my future granddaughter, after making lots of boys clothes for my two grown sons :)

Comment by Paula T. on April 26, 2011 at 1:24pm: I've been working on a counted cross stitch kit for my future grandchild (due in June), but now that I will be graduating with my Master's Degree, I want to get back to knitting and crocheting. I am a member at the Ravelry, but haven't been active there.....and just noticed the only group I belong to is the Atheist and Agnostic Crafters! lol My screen name there is paula5691. My sister is a member here and on Rav and has been knitting socks, with great success, for a while now. I'll see if I can't get her to log in to connect here :)
