Starting in mid 2006 a few people began a gathering at a local coffee shop here in Corpus Christi for non-theists. Now more than three years later we are still small but going strong.

I know I'm only here for six months, but I think I could do a lot to help with the basic goals that I gathered tonight of (1) growing the atheist community and (2) getting the atheist name in a positive light. A plug from an article I wrote a few weeks ago actually: Blog
