What is the purpose of sex?

I'm curious as to what conservative atheists believe about sex. As a culturally liberal secular atheist, I believe sex should be reserved for marriage, not as the basis of a relationship but as a…Continue

Will the struggle inside the Republican Party break up the Party?

Chris, I am sick about Afghanistan, as well as Iraq.  But...it is ending up just as I feared it would in both countries.  Ever since our policy became to avoid victory, we have offered hope only to bug-out leaving worse despair and destruction among the betrayed people who sought liberty.

I can't understand this nonsense about Ron Paul's foreign policy being dangerous. It makes absolutely zero sense. Keep eating up the war propaganda. It's just more profiteering.

Does anyone understand how dangerous it would be to attack Iran? Do people realize Russia is piling troops along the northern border of Iran "awaiting an attack from the west"? Do you really want world war 3!? I keep seeing it's not conservative. Who cares? All that really implies is that it is not in line with the same ineffective foreign policy held by conservatives (liberals are no better) in the past.

And jumping to the defense of Romney? Really? Why don't you just vote for Obama and let Ron Paul be the republican nominee and give America a chance at liberty? It would be the same race for president either way...Romney is no different than Obama depending on what day you talk to him.

It really saddens me that people can not see that NOT trying to control the rest of the world is a reasonable and sound foreign policy. Has the propaganda really affected people so deeply that they are in constant fear? This is a self-destructive path. History is repeating as we speak and no one is paying attention.

Welcome here Andrew.  Welcome here to all of those who are new.  This group has grown despite there not being a lot of activity here.  There is much more activity on a facebook group with a similar title just so everyone knows.

Iraq: Congress voted for serious consequences should the country violate the latest (at the time) UN resolution. Then, down party lines, the democrats turned against their own country and military which was sent in harms way. Having served in Iraq to make ourselves as well as the Iraqi's better off, I still bear significant personal anger and resentment over the immoral and treasonous false accounts many congressional leaders delivered regarding their supposed lack of intelligence briefs.

Is it still feasible that someday we can bring these individuals to testify before a future congress along with the counter-claims of present military and intelligence officials who gave the briefs?

I don't think I will ever rest in peace until this is done; this crap definitely undermined the psychological aspect of our efforts. Justice must prevail on this!

I mean is it just me or does anyone else feel sick to their stomach about this whole bit? It's like the Elephant in the room, no? We became weak in the knees from not taking those people to task at the very get go. Then our paper-tiger-ness just continued from there.

GOP Debate #20, Mitt Romney came out pretty good with that debate. I think he'll be the GOP nominee.  I'm feeling some relief already.

Brokered Convention - It appears that's a long shot but right now I think Conservatives would love it.

The USA is already danged-near bankrupt (I say it IS).  There is a limit to how bakrupt we can get.  I know you are a busy man, but please start reading a bit on the economy and debt and the Fed.  To survive, we MUST get our books in order.  To hell with morals and other countries when our country breaks out in anarchy like Greece.  With our past race issues and with all of the foriegners in the USA, it'll be worse madness than Greece!
