Hi. I signed up on this site like 2 years ago and never came back, but here I am again. I live in New Haven.

Hi everyone. I just joined this site earlier this week and I am excited to get to know more atheists in CT.

And for a quick what is going on in CT that atheists should know about: http://www.creationct.com/conference511.html

There is a creationism conference in Vernon, CT on Saturday May 11th.  I will be checking it out with a friend.  If anyone is interested in having a facepalm heavy day we welcome some other non-believing company.

Hello all. Hello Daisy! I just yesterday found this group and I am glad I did. Intro: I am a past president of the Atheist Humanist Society of CT & RI (Daisy's wonderful group) and a member of American Atheists. I have been trying to get a group formed up here in "The Quiet Corner" but with no luck at all. I will be at the UConn Freethinkers/David Niose event on the 12th. Anybody else? Again, happy to have found you. These are critical times and I think we will need each other.

Hello Kritzia and welcome.

To all, I understand that Dan Barker and others from Freedom From Religion Foundation may be coming to Hartford in October and visiting Mark Twain's house. I for one am planning on attending. Maybe we can all meet up for the first time.

I wonder if there is a need to have an atheist meet up in our capital of Hartford.

I'm looking for some Connecticut bloggers to join the Atheist Blogmap (http://cdogzilla.blogspot.com/p/atheist-blogmap.html). I'm from East Hartford, went to UConn, and although I live in NC now, I still read Colin McEnroe and visit the Mark Twain House and Mozzicato's whenever I go back home.

@Daisy Milano, or we just have a nack for not conglomerating! That's one of the funny things about this web site...

http://www.meetup.com/Atheist-Humanist-Society-of-CT-and-RI/ There are more than you think... it's just hard to round them all up because we don't have a radar for these things :D

Many people are just now finding this place, many more will surely follow. FYI, I've been a computer-savvy athiest for my entire adult life, and I haven't been here 2 weeks yet. Spread the word.

there are more atheists in Ct. I dont believe that Ct is all that religious, we just have better things to do with our time. I think that many of us who join a group have a hard time dealing with religion in general. I was raised in a fundy pentecostal environment so my whole childhood was dominated by foolishness. At the age of 32 i woke up and saw the light. Many who have not had our experiences will not think it necessayr to join groups like these. But rest assured Ct is not taht superstitious.....i hope!!!
