I swung by on Saturday, but I didn't stay. A large hall full of people who don't know the first thing about evolution, listening to how it's all nonsense anyway. What could possibly go wrong?

was there not some sort of Intelligent Design convention in the area recently?? (Castle Rock?) I thought I remembered some posts about it, but darn if I can find them now.

Yup. I live in D20 and did basically the same thing--picked the candidates opposed to ID/Creationism in the science classroom.

School board elections today in Colorado Springs. I picked the three candidates (D11)who seemed least likely to support the teaching of Intelligent Design in school and least likely to support random drug testing. Did any other C. Springers vote?

Kinda like the Reagan joke, i.e., whilst digging through the horse manure the optimistic child said, there has to be a pony in here somewhere. I think that is a fair comparison.
