I haven't been able to take Bill Maher seriously since he got into all of that homeopathy and alternative medicine crap. It just pings my skepticism too hard.

Yeah I watched religulous not to long ago. Interesting to say the least. I didn't realize that creationist museum was the same one as by me in cincinnati. Think next time I need a good laugh I will go by there instead of the comedy club. Anyone think they'd have an issue of me mocking there displays.

I caught some of that Maher episode. I've watched his Religulous, and I'm disappointed that he did not give her the same treatment as he would anyone else. What a fucktard.

I'll have to check back in my Real Time podcasts and catch that one, haven't listened in a few months.

Yah, cupp is pretty rediculous. She has her masters in religious studies and is a religion defender and groupie, cuz "It has played such a huge role in our history." Yah, a terrible role!!!

She was on Real Time with Bill Maher on May 14 and was pretty irritating. I think she is an imposter inplanted by the religious right to make atheists look stupid >)

Hey guys. Love the podcast. Just found it about a month ago and started to listen from the beginning. Up to ep. 17. Great stuff. Thanks to you guys I found athiest nexus. Keep up the great work of bringing to light the worst of the douchebaggeries we know as the ultra religious.

I would love to have S.E. Cupp on, as I think she's a total fraud, but I'm afraid she's likely too high profile for us.

Eli, Cupp is the "atheist" and conservative pundit that wrote "Losing Our Religion: The Liberal Media's Attack On Christianity."

Apologies, I'm not familiar with S.E. Cupp.

"Good point - I forgot about that.  You can display it for yourself in EDIT mode, but it doesn't show up on your profile.  Also a good point about videos ... need a display and handle for that."

Not believing in an afterlife does not mean i am a "sad' person.

I work in healthcare in a long term care facility and I deal with death on a regular basis. About a year ago the opportunity arose for me to take a palliative care course through my work.  I enjoyed it for the most part. It dealt with topics such as end of life care, pain relief and addressing the spiritual needs of different individuals based on their religious beliefs. There was one instance however that was decidedly unpleasant, and unfortunately really overshadowed the rest of my time in the…See More
