After cutting ties with the church I have become a better person, a person with higher morals, and overall happier with the life I lead. Letting it go was the best thing I ever did.

These people are not going to be swayed by your personal testimony (because who can trust that?) and instead by the wild conjecture of their unqualified pastors (who are totally reliable).

About wether or not Atheism is a "choice", The comments on which I tend to identify with, I chose to evaluate my life and the world around me rationally, when I did so religion fell away.
