I do remember the book "Cosmos" being on my parents' bookshelf, with a neat looking guy on the back cover...learned a lot more about him later in life!

I was so lucky that as a child, I watched Cosmos every night with my parents. Thanks, mom, for introducing me to an amazing man whose ideas will never die. Too few college students even know who he is anymore :(

Watching Cosmos was an instrumental step in my development as an Atheist. I still have the book that I got when I was a kid.

Why are scientists today not like Carl Sagan?
Why don't they have the courage and wisdom
to stand up for revelations of Science and rationality.

I wish Sagan was still here. We still need someone like him to get people interested in science.
