Okay, so this is simple. Let's do something to help each other out. Post your blog or blogs, and try to take the time to visit the blogs of others who post here. IE, at least visit the blogs of the people posting before and after you, so check often. Try to comment! I'll be checking in on this thread and visiting and trying to give feedback to every blog posted. I love supporting atheist and liberal blogs. :)

My blog is A Poet's Manifesto: Random Subtitle Here with the obligatory description I've standardized to: "A Poet's Manifesto is neither a manifesto, nor is the author a particularly good poet. What it is however, is a existentialist journey through history, current events, humorous anecdotes and bad advice. Also, there's a yellow sweater involved."
Hey everyone! I manage the blog http://thenocturnal.blogspot.com. I write about religion and atheism from an agnostic point of view and behavioral changes of people following religion.
ok, my blog

hi. i'm new here.  i started a blog about religion, science, politics, and culture a few months ago, and am interested in meeting more folks who do the same.  some of my posts are very personal, about my transition from growing up in a happy religious household (very moderate and non-traumatic) to living as a non-religious adult and parent, and some of the posts are simply items of interest that i've stumbled across and thought were worth sharing.

i look forward to checking out others' blogs.  if you are so inclined, you can view mine here: http://www.defshepherd.com/

thanks!

e.

I like it, especially your recent post on the rapture (or lack of) ... I might have to rethink a little the rapture rant I was in the middle of writing for my blog - don't want to risk covering all the same ground! :)

Good stuff ...

Thank you, Kris. I will check out your blog.  And no problem covering the same ground.  There's much to cover, and a lot of folks have covered the same maddening details, but with different perspectives and insights.  I look forward to checking yours out.
That's true ... 2000 years of human error, we're bound to end up having to deal with the same old crap again and again :)  It's just nice to be able to put one's own spin on things.  Speaking of which ... Whoops, apocalypse! :)

Hi,

I have recently started a blog called Science and Atheism where i discuss both science and atheism, though mostly atheism.  I am very interested in link exchanges with other blogs that deal with science and atheism.

For what it's worth, here's mine ... Rant In A-Minor, which I describe as "loud, rude words about religion (and other annoyances)".  Comments always appreciated (as are link exchanges with fellow atheists / ranting nutters) :)
My blog is Hit and Miss and can be found at http://hitandmiss1.blogspot.com/ I don't only post about atheism (I post about random thoughts really) but many posts have an atheistic theme. You may enjoy it...or you may not.
Well, put me in the "enjoy it" category (in fact I've already posted a couple of comments!).  Will read some more when I get home (at work atm) :)
Thanks Kris. I've read the comments and I appreciate you taking the time. I must say though, your blog is WONDERFUL and it gave me blogger envy when I read some of your posts. Great stuff. Our politics are a little different, but I really enjoy your writing. I'll be sharing your blog with friends (I assume that's ok).

Death of a family member

Posted by Larry Taylor on May 20, 2013 at 8:15pm 5 Comments

OK. I am venting. My mother died two weeks ago. She was a “god fearing christian.” Before her death she refused all medical treatment. She wanted to be left alone. She even refused to speak with my brother who is a methodist minister. He is a pip, let me tell you! I suspect she did not believe, but a woman born in her time could not and did not state her actual beliefs. This is the opening salvo to all christians; FUCK YOU! I had so many people come and tell…

Unbelievable!!!!!!!!

Posted by Christy Stewart on May 20, 2013 at 2:17pm 6 Comments

This probably should not have shocked me as much as it did (especially since I am in Texas). I actually thought my coworkers were playing a joke on me because they know I am an atheist. Sadly, this was no joke. This actually happened.

I work in a psychiatric hospital. The doctors who admit patients are general MDs. (Psychiatrists see patients after admission) Yesterday evening we received several calls from irate parents. A new doctor who was doing admissions yesterday actually…

anti-atheist rant from an Orthodox Mormon part 2

What do you think of this,

Nathan Young,

No Jason Torpy it is you that should be banned for promoting atheism, a belief that has no foundation in reality and zero proof behind it.  The letter was a mockery of your atheist beliefs.  I request to the board here that they remove Jason for his unverifiable beliefs in atheism for which he has no proof other than his arrogance.  The letter was a mockery of atheism.  Atheism is stupid and it should be mocked and it…
