Well at least the closing of that paragraph is wrong. Big pharma DOES claim they have our best interests at heart, as does Bill Gates, as does Monsanto, as does Enron. In fact most billionaire corporate tycoons think they're saving the world, and all of us along with it... by providing us with all these crappy undervalued jobs. Billionaire corporate tycoons claim that without their cheap labour policies, we'd all be without work... poowee! as if there wasn't happiness before corporatism. That article does like Fox News, sprinkle a couple of truths throughout, and then come to a nonsense conclusion. Just keeping it real here...

This article is the real reason why I, as an American, cannot fully support the Occupy movement. I agree with their objections, just not with their target

However, I am all for getting the money out of the government. Our government should be ruled by everyone, not just by those who have the money to bribe them

I would love for groups of atheists to speak out publicly for Occupy Wall Street, but I'm not holding my breath... outside of biblical issues, most of the atheists I've met are pretty status quo with the powers that be. Completely opposite atheists of the previous century.

Atheist Voyager, the Mormon at the end of the video stated that their church was inclusive of different people. But he didn't mention that they only fairly recently allow Blacks as members. I also believe women are not allowed the same leadership opportunities in the Mormon church as men.

I've been busy elsewhere. I missed us passing the 450 member mark. Now I have to catch up on the discussions I missed.

I noticed this in my travels to Latin America too. I was 18 when I first travelled to Mexico, I've also lived in Ecuador, volunteered in Costa Rica and visited Republica Dominicana. It is a typical experience to step into public transit and find two pictures: Jesus and a naked play girl. As a third generation who'd always hated religions, I thought these side by side pictures were so classy ;)

A perfect demonstration of religious hypocrisy.

Yes we do! Concerts with the nastiest comedians all thank the Lord. Strip clubs with strippers saying "I'm blessed and highly favored." Jesus gets more applause than some of the acts. More than 90% of male and female inmates are Christian. The pie in the sky talked about so well by Huey Newton is still alive and dragging us down the path to?

Omg, I have really noticed something, lately.

When, listening to Black R&B radio stations, they play a boatload of church music.  Now, when I am listening to a station that has mostly caucasian listeners, I never hear a church song.  Not a one!!!

On the R&B station, they over and over play that Kirk Franklin "Smile" song.  And that one song "he seen the best in me...".  Has anyone else noticed that?

One minute, I am listening to Prince screaming "Do Me Baby", or something of that nature, then boom...Jesus music is on the radio.  I don't know, I find it kinda funny!

Our folks got it bad with this religion.
