Comment by Ralph Dumain on January 2, 2012 at 5:53am Happy new year to all. I've been busy on Facebook, and with other projects, and with everyday life. I see we are now up to 475 members. Congrats to Raina Rhoades on her new blog and to all other endeavors in this area. I am starting out the new year in a good mood, which may not be discernible when I'm attacking intellectual mediocrity even more viciously than I did prior to January 1. Civilization is sinking fast, and intellectual life along with it, but here at least things are moving.

Comment by Secular Forces 2013 on December 25, 2011 at 12:37am I was in a small room for the most part with Greydon Square spittn' ... fug; intense individual on a mission; that's all I got now... btw I'm some white skinned guy that happens to be a godless hip hop (hardcore not the mtv junk) fan... and throw some Behemoth at the christcriminal types while I'm at it payce!
Comment by Dean Dazzle on December 8, 2011 at 9:00pm My family isn't religious so i wouldn't know what it's like to "celebrate" Xmas in a Christian home but you can just keep in mind that the origin of Christmas has nothing to do with Jesus at all. It was a celebration of the Winter Solstice until about 200 years after Jesus' death the church adopted it.. then it was Christmas.
Comment by Dave Kostiuk on December 8, 2011 at 8:45pm That reminds me: the mucho talented Terence Howard is listed as a producer (he is also a co-star) of a movie called The Ledge. It stars Charlie Hunnam as an athiest who is forced to commit suicide by a right-wing Christian. What trips me out is that I assume Howard has just GOTSTA be a non-believer to touch the project, much less put up $$$ for it. Does anyone know about this cat's beliefs?
Comment by Dave Kostiuk on December 8, 2011 at 8:40pm What do ya all feel about cultural Christianity? Getting ready to celebrate Christmas again with my little nuclear family. I learned not to believe by my parents, so I'm not sure what we're doing half the time with this Christmas junk. It's nice to hang out and exchange gifts, but I hope to stop celebrating at some point in my life. Right now it would be great to save money anyhow.
