I am definitely looking into attending this event.

Here is a google map of the location at 621 Pennsylvania Ave. It looks like it's close to a subway stop.
Union Station (Amtrak) is about 2.5 miles from the CFI Building
Google map

(Mistake, it was about 1 mile, not 2. Pleasant walk on a nice day)
My apologies for not keeping up with this group for the past few weeks. The closest subway stop is Eastern Market on the blue/orange lines, less than a block away, but you can walk from Union Station if you don't mind a hike. All this is obvious on the map, of course.
Awesome.
This converence will be discussed by the guest on "the Infidel Guy" program this Thursday, March 4 at 8 PM EST.

The location of the conference is one half block from the Eastern Market Metro station ( Blue and Orange lines)

From Union Station, one could walk 2 miles across Capitol Hill or take the Red line to METRO CENTER and transfer to either the Blue or Orange line to go to Eastern Market station..

There are still spaces left to register for this conference.
Thanks,

Do you know what the building looks like? I couldn't find a picture at the CFI website. In Google street view there seems to be an art gallery at the 621 PA Ave. location.
That is the right building, The Earth Day display is the CFI window. This picture is old and the display has changed The CFI space is on the ground foor of this building. 621 Pennsylvania Ave. SE., Wasshington, DC .
I didn't realize there's also an Event page
I didn't attend the conference, but I showed up for the happy hour and had a great time. I'll be interested in detailed reports of the conference itself.
