birdingblogs.com has some great pics too. Also on my RSS now. Not as frequent postings as 10,000 birds.
birdzilla.com more pics
Mainly wanted to post the birding oktoberfest. My camera is not so good, doesn't take great bird pics. The feeders have lots of birds, big and small. I have suet cakes (need to make a recipe for those so I don't keep buying them), sunflower seeds, chikadee/finch mix, and a thistle feeder. I hope that helps them survive the winter and attract beneficial birds to the yard.

Comment by Tony Carroll on October 5, 2012 at 11:10pm Yeah, I just thought maybe giraffes had learned to fly, or something! LOL!
Though, a flying giraffe would be way cool! Hahahaha. :)

Comment by Ruth Anthony-Gardner on October 3, 2012 at 10:18pm Thanks for the scary bird pictures, Sentient Biped. Some call out for captions.
Oh wow! How wonderful! So many new posts here.
Your yard sounds wonderful Sentient - a real treat for the birds.
Ruth - that's a great cartoon - and if they keep cutting down the trees to build roads - that's exactly what it will look like.
Sentient - cool picture from Birdzilla. Nice.
Crocoduck is great Joan - thanks. People just don't understand evolution - you are right.
