It's a new type of bird! A giraffe that flies!
Yeah - hehe - must have been tired when I posted that - it's funny! At least I'm laughing!

Yeah, I just thought maybe giraffes had learned to fly, or something! LOL!

Though, a flying giraffe would be way cool! Hahahaha. :)

I love the Secretary Bird photo!
Beautiful bird!
Thanks Tony!
I think I meant to put my giraffe pic in the Wildlife group - but oh well.
I'll have to get another picture for my Wildlife group.

Look at this handsome fellow. Secretary bird. Endemic to sub-Saharan Africa,. found in all areas. Is a raptor, can fly quite gracefully, but seems to prefer staying on the ground.

Thanks for the scary bird pictures, Sentient Biped. Some call out for captions.

Oh wow! How wonderful! So many new posts here.

Your yard sounds wonderful Sentient - a real treat for the birds.

Ruth - that's a great cartoon - and if they keep cutting down the trees to build roads - that's exactly what it will look like.

Sentient - cool picture from Birdzilla. Nice.

Crocoduck is great Joan - thanks. People just don't understand evolution - you are right.

What is the bird at the tail, a pigeon? I named your photo "sharpigeon" until corrected.

That one would scare me at the feeder too!
