Comment by Joan Denoo on September 25, 2012 at 9:07pm We lived at Ft. Hood, Tx in the early 1970s and had a "Ranger Station" in our back yard that was a climbing contraption for school age children, with ladders, slides, climbing ropes, with a lot of bells and whistles that made it the favorite toy in the neighborhood. Also participating in the play was a Mockingbird, quite tame. He loved the kids and they returned the affection. They would chatter together and he always came around when the kids had their lunches on the top deck. His wonderful sounds delighted us all.
Thanks Sentient for the RSS feed blog link - I will look into getting some ideas and post them here.
Comment by Sentient Biped on September 25, 2012 at 11:36am by the way, to get RSS feed of new discussions here, you can go to the "view all" link above, then click on the RSS icon. I can't explain it in detail, but it works for me in google reader and on my kindle RSS reader, which is helpful.
